The project comprised construction of a 87m high rock fill dam with upstream concrete membrane, having a crest length of 600 m, and radial gated chute type spillways. The concrete lined power tunnel is 6.8 km long. Installed capacity is 2 X 67 MW with provision for a third unit of 67 MW.

  • 3 Weirs

  • 2 Headrace channels (over 6 km – combined length)
  • 2 Penstock lines (over 3 km)
  • Project related infrastructure including roads, engineers’ camps and water supply and sanitation facilities.
