CECB facilitates its staff to enrich their higher education (professional development) by way of providing
scholarships, study tours, travel grants, seminars or other award focused schemes which contain an element of
training or enhances knowledge, qualifications, or experience.

Eligible staff are given professional / technical training to enhance their professional development. For this
type of training, possession of professional qualifications is given high consideration and the TRD Unit assists

in meeting these professional training objectives. We facilitate professional staff who meet the eligibility
criteria to acquire Master’s degrees or other postgraduate qualifications through sponsored courses of study
and/or research and grant duty leave for them to follow such courses. Staff who attended such programmes
are required to conduct in-house presentations as knowledge sharing sessions which is an added benefit to the
CECB.
