VACANCIES

Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, a premier engineering consultancy organization at the forefront of infrastructure development in the country with wide range of expertise in different disciplines, invite applications from citizens of Sri Lanka for the below mentioned posts on Contract basis.

01Technical Assistant (Civil)Having passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six (06) subjects including Sinhala / Tamil and English in not more than two (02) sittings with Credit Passes for Four (04) subjects including Mathematics and Science.   Having passed three (03) subjects of G.C.E. (A/L) in Mathematical stream is an added advantage. And   National Certificate in Technology (NCT) in the relevant field not less than NVQ Level 5 awarded by a Technical College accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).Minimum One (01) year Experience in Building Construction related works
02Technical Assistant (QS)Having passed G.C.E. Salary & Other Benefits :     I. Selected applicants will be placed on a suitable salary point depending on qualifications and experience as per the MSD Circular 02/2016.

II. Contribution of 12% and 3% of salary to the Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund respectively by the Bureau.

Method of Selection           :  Selections will be made on the order of merit determined by an Interview Panel.

Those who do not possess the required qualifications and experience as at the closing date will not be eligible to apply for these posts. Any application not meeting the required qualifications, not attach the copies of relevant Educational certificates, Professional certificates & Experience letters and received after the deadline will be rejected without any notice.

We are pleased to welcome Eng. A.P. Jayatissa as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) and subsidiary, Central Engineering Services (Pvt) Ltd (CESL), effective from 18 December 2024.

Eng. Jayatissa in his inaugural address to the higher management and senior staff of CECB and CESL as Chairman, expressed his privilege and commitment in taking on this vital role during these critical times. He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, calling on all employees to embrace innovative thinking and bold strategies to restore and elevate CECB and CESL to their proud legacy of “Inspiring Engineering Excellence,” a standard built over 50 years of success. The Chairmans inaugural was graced by Dr. Susil Ranasinghe, MP, Hon. Deputy Minister, Lands and Irrigation, and high-ranking well-wishers from Ministry of Irrigation, Road Development Authority, as well as from IT Sector firms.

Eng. Jayatissa with his extensive expertise and proven leadership in the engineering field, both in Sri Lanka and internationally, brings wealth of knowledge and fresh vision to guide our organization to new heights. His leadership will undoubtedly reinforce our dedication to delivering world-class engineering solutions and products upholding the highest standards of excellence.
